A little tummy

Sam's least favorite activity...tummy time.

He has mastered sitting up but occasionally he falls over and today he fell on his tummy and was actually a pretty good sport about it. So naturally I had to take video of it. 

Its blurry and shaking. apologies, apologies all around.

We learned about temples.

Monday night, Kent walked in the house and the first thing he said was

 " i have FHE planned"

We had dinner.

We watched a couple of mormon messages about temples. We watched THIS and THAT.  

We walked around the house with Will 

and had him point to temples. 

We packed up the kids in the car 

and to a little trip to the Provo Temple. 

Will and I got out of the car and he helped me take a picture of it. 

Afterwards we went over to Waffle Love's food truck and enjoyed a delicious waffle.

I love Valentine's Day.

 Especially when I spend it with Kent and the boys.  

Kent went to work bright and early, I got Will dressed and feed already to go to preschool. 

I put a little bag of some valentines' to share with his class and teachers.

After I feed Sam and put him down for a nap, I went about my day getting the house and myself ready.

Valentine's Day around here is pretty low key. 

We love to stay home and celebrate as a little family. 

Some of our little family traditions are making a 

heart shaped meat loaf. 

I remember our first Valentine's day (2008), Kent surprised me with a Valentine's dinner at my apartment. 

I walked in and found a delicious candle light dinner, he had on his best suit and tie, and our favorite music was playing. 

(i still listen to that CD mix)

I married a romantic. 

*sigh*

Made Devils Food Cake.

A cake mix

 1 cup of plain greek yogurt 

1 cup of water

1/2 cup of chocolate chips.

bake according to box instructions.

it was delicious! 

Will and I went on a date. 

We watched Wreck it Ralph. 

He has seen it 4 times, people. 4 times!

 Took a much needed trip to the temple this weekend. 

Got my red one.

{My loves}

This short is beautiful. it gives me butterfly's and makes me cry every time. 

Its dear to me because its the kind of love Kent and I share.


Our love is one of a kind, babe. 

I have so much updating to do. 

But our sweet boys have been keeping us extremely busy!

We are all sick over here except for Kent. 

Which I am thankful for. 

Sam has 2 ear infections. 

possibly RSV. 

He has to use a Nebulizer twice a day. 

Poor child.

 He gets freaked out when I turn it on and force it on his face. 

But you wouldn't even know that he was miserable because he is the happiest baby in the world!

He is still eating great and sleeping great. 

I tell ya, he is easy!

I {heart} February

February is always a special month for me. 

I always think of my mom. especially on Valentine's day. 

You see, her name is Valentina. 

In Mexico that is her "saint" day. 

Every year when my mom was a little girl, her mom would buy her

 a can of cherries to celebrate her day. 
After she died (mom was 9 yrs old), her dad continued that tradition.

 Every time I am at the grocery store, I always buy a can and wish I could be in San Diego on Valentine's day to drop one off to her. 

I love her.

This month our FHE nights are all centered on Love.

We wrote love notes to each other last night on red heart doilies. 

we put them in our new valentines mailbox

We are going to stay busy this wintery love month with indoor activities and crafts. 

Here are a few crafts i've made for an upcoming Relief Society activity and a few Will helped me with for around the house. 

Hosted a craft night last week and this is what we made. 

This fun party banner is made of plastic tablecloths. 

Will helped me stamp some hearts on burlap.
