playing in the sun

Will is 8 months old this Saturday. We is starting to get into a lot of trouble. He crawls on his hands and knees now and you can usually find him by our printer, speakers, DVDs, or hallway. We are super busy chasing after him. We are so happy to have him in our lives.  As you can see from the 2 pictures above, he can pick himself up too.  He eats everything I give him and is starting to take formula at least 2 times a day. that's right, I am starting to wean him off from breastfeeding.

Back in February Will got professional pictures taken at 6 months. Here are 2 of my favorites. Isn't he handsome?

Picnic and cupcakes.

Kent planned a wonderful picnic for us at a park in Orem. He bought ham tortas from the local mexican market. drank apple juice and had the most delicious strawberries. oh and costco chips and salsa. It was so nice being outside. Can't wait for many more picnics in the summer!
He bought us some delicious cupcakes from here in Provo.  Will had his first swing ride and he loved it. Can't you tell? He smiled the entire time.              

 Kent was so sweet to dress up as a bunny for the primary Easter activity.  The kids loved it and chased him around the cultural hall. I love him.  He is always willing to do what ever I ask of him.

It was overall a wonderful day!

Mission Reunion

Friday was my mission reunion. I served in the Utah SLC South Mission. It was so nice to see the sisters 

and elders i served with. 

On saturday we found out my mission president ( Brad Risenmay) was called to be a seventy.

It didn't surprise at all. He is a very special man. 

Sister Risenmay is a wonderful women and I felt so much love and encouragement when I served under their direction.

A Will update and my new hair.

                          Yesterday the carseat was his favorite toy. He literally played with it for half an hour.  Usually its the DVD on the bottom shelf, my cell phone, Laptop or printer that catches his eye. I am super busy chasing him around and moving him away from these things.

Will at 7 months and 2 weeks can:

*pick him self up

*eat an entire baby jar of veggies and fruit

*crawls on his knees and hands but is lazy 

sometimes and does the army crawl

*He sleeps on his tummy

*he can finally put the binky in his mouth by himself!!!

* talks A LOT! He says dadda, bubbba and loves to scream

*He loves his giraffe stuffed animal and did 

I mention my cell phone?

*He also loves to be breastfed. I've tried giving him formula ( 3 different kinds) and he still wont take it. I guess I shouldn't complain but I really want to lose some weight.

I had my hair cut on Wednesday.  Don't mind how I'm dressed.

I was getting ready to go to Zumba. Last time I had short hair was back in 2003. It took me awhile to get use to it abut I love my new look.
