Zumba and moccasins. 

no, i don't wear a pair to zumba but William has a cute handmade pair from our dear friend Susan over at Freshly Picked.

Can I just say how much fun i am having at my Zumba class?!!! I have been doing it off and on for a year now and it helps me unwind from a busy day. try it, you'll be hooked.

I am so behind in uploading pictures. next post: my valentine's cake. i never got around to making it for Valentine's day. we were SO busy. So I promised my sweetheart that we would celebrate our own valentine's day before the end of the month. so stay tuned!

{ february is for lovers}

I am so excited its February. This is a special month for me. I love decorating the house with red and pink hearts. and making heart shaped cookies and heart shaped pancakes for Will. sigh. I am also excited to make this cake shown below. You can find the tutorial over here. let me know if you are making it and post pictures. I will be posting too.

{crafty night in}

Anthropologie is my Disneyland.

For those of you who don't know what Anthropologie is, its defiantly not the study of humans past and present. ( got that definition from wikipedia after googling it).
Anthropologie takes me to  MY happy place.  Kent always makes sure we make a quick stop to the gateway when traveling north. He knows how much I love this store.
I just LOVE walking into the store and dreaming, WISHING and sometimes getting to go home with these.
Last Mothers day I received 6 of these cute bowls. and I need/want MORE.
I also want this so bad but I would never feel good about spending that much on something i can find at a  Thrift Store.

Since we cannot afford all that this store has to offer, I will make due with this inexpensive craft projects I found the other day here.

Last night Kent and I painted monogram letters and they turned out so cute! I went ahead and painted one for Will too. I'll post on his later.

We rearranged our living room and changed our pictures around. William wanted to join in and started stacking these picture frames. He was very proud of himself. we are proud of him too.

• he loves to make mommy and daddy kiss.
• He is teething like crazy and its driving ME crazy. He has 12 teeth and 4 braking thru (canines) which has caused his recent cold and diaper rash.
• He loves to watch Toy Story movies! we borrowed our sister in laws TS3 and we watch it at least once a day. we can quote that movie. William gets way into it sometimes.
• he loves Woody. 
• he loves puppies
• he loves cheese, milk, animal crackers, bread, banana shakes, panko breaded tilapia, and bananas.
• he is not a big fan of pizza spaghetti and sometimes mac n cheese.
• he can say Ma, Pa baby, hi, say cheese, leche (milk) tres (three)  and he whines a lot for everything else.
• he is starting to recognize the word time out and knows when he is in trouble when I count to three.
• when I start counting he says "tres"...
• we have a baby gate for the kitchen since he throws everything away and sometimes we find him under the sink.
• he loves bath time
• he loves to dance to Mickey Mouse Club.
• He loves to talk on the phone.

{new year resolutions}

They need to watch less television but not on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. 

(too many great shows to pass on...)

They need to cook meals with quinoa every week

 they need to drink more water

 They  need/want another baby

Mr. K goal is to start school in the Fall
