We are watching a lot of movies lately. I mean, I've been watching a lot more movies than usual. Add that to the movies that I already watch because of school, and that's just crazypants. The reason for all the movie watching is morning sickness. Why isn't it called night sickness? Maybe Nassari is just a special case, but her nausea seems to kick in hardcore during the evening. That keeps us inside at nights and that means MOVIES!!!
Unfortunately, we've already run through our own collection of DVDs. Tonight I got her to watch Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack. Yes that is the whole title of the movie and yes it is as awesome as the title is long. She was resistant to it at first, but she thought the monster, Baragon, was cute.
I know! Right?
So it all worked out in the end. But that was the end of our collection. Battlestar Galactica and 30 Rock only happen twice a week, so that's not gonna cut it. I've been wanting to get Afro Samurai and Afro Samurai: Resurrection (which comes out next month, brutha!) but I think I might be the only one in this house who enjoys hip hop samurais that slice bullets in mid-air and battle clone robots in low orbit, all set to the music of the RZA. What are we to do?
You know what's ironic about this whole situation? We do make plans to go out at night, even though we have to cancel. And what do we plan to do most of the time? Go to the movies.
I'm really not going anywhere with this. I'm just rambling. Just now Nassari realized that we've been in the house since we got home from work. After Godzilla, a two hour nap, and Hitch, it looks like she's feeling much better. No work tomorrow. Maybe we'll catch a late show at the theater. Peace out.
