Our dear friends the Wings volunteered to watch Will on Friday while Kent and I celebrated our anniversary. Kent took me to La Jolla Grove for dinner at Riverwoods. It was so delicious. I love that Kent was excited to dress up for that night. He knows how much I love to do that. After dinner we went over to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and got my favorite Apple Pie carmel apple. we then drove out to Thanksgiving Point to see the premier of Captain America AND it was awesome!! we had a wonderful night to ourselves. I am so excited to celebrate many, many more anniversaries with my best friend.
Okay, so while I was in San Diego I was going through all of my things from high School and I found a movie ticket stub for The Count of Monte Cristo( Feb 23rd 2002). That was the movie Kent and I saw on our first date. I had forgotten that I had kept it. This is what we got in the mail from my sweet mother in law on Friday.
now all we need to do is get a frame for the ticket stub and movie poster.

Happy Anniversary! Sounds like you had a great night out. La Jolla Groves is one of my favorite places to eat out. It is so yummy and I love the atmosphere under the lemon trees. Love your dress too! You look fantastic! Hope you are all doing well :)
