DAY 6

  HEALTH

I am grateful for my health.
My health permits me to carry a baby on on hip and a screaming 3 yr old on the other.
I am able to nurse a chubby baby.
I am grateful that my body is keeping up with the demands of a growing chubby baby.
I am grateful I can play, run, and walk.
I am grateful I can keep up with my 3 yr old.
I am grateful I can exercise.
This morning I exercised in my living room.
Thanks to a friend, I was able to borrow her Zumba Rush on the XBOX KINECT.
It feels great getting in a nice work out in the morning.

DAY 5

  PINTEREST & PLANNING!

I am grateful for the resources available to help me be a better wife and mother.
I am always striving to be a better wife and mother.
I love to plan and organize. I have a planner or calendar almost in every room in the house.
i know. i have a problem.
I make lots of list and charts for everything and I think it drives Kent mad.
BUT that is how I get things done.
Between my calling at church, Will's schedule, husbands work and getting our house in order I am a busy women.
I love to plan things in advance.
(mom, thank you for being patient with that. I know you don't like that)

I am grateful i can plan delicious family meals a week or two in advance with all the great recipes pinned from my friends.

and just for fun, here are some of my favorite "your e cards" found on Pinterest.

ENJOY!

DAY 4

  SUNDAYS

Sundays are day of rest.
Sundays are spiritual and uplifting.
Sundays are our chance to start new and set goals.
Sundays are family time.
Sundays are watching a classic movie in the evening.
Sundays are usually crock pot on and dessert in the oven.
Sundays include a little nap at some point with my little family.
Sundays my men look good in ties and I'm wearing high heals.

I am grateful for Sundays.

I love this kid.

DAY 3

                         Marriage
Today was a rough day for me. I was not myself. Everything and everyone bothered me and I didn't like how I felt. My little family depends on me in every way. I am so grateful that I am not in this world alone. I am not alone in preparing myself to one day stand infront of my maker and report. I get to have my best friend beside me helping me to be a better person. I am grateful for the covenant   of marriage.

DAY 2

 My Children

I am grateful for being a mother of these two little boys. Each day I am amazed. I am so grateful to be entrusted with these sweet souls and hope and pray to help them reach their full potential on this earth.

I love his chocolate pudding covered face.

They make me so happy each day.

DAY 1 of Gratitude

I've decide to start a 30 days of Gratitude challenge.

I have felt I should start on the tradition of counting my blessing and thinking of something i am grateful for each day in November.  I love the idea of starting off my day thinking about the blessing I receive daily.

so here it goes...

DAY #1

KENT

I can't even start this post without crying. I feel so much gratitude for the kind of man Kent is to me and our children. He is an amazing person both inside and out. How did I get so lucky? Sometimes I seriously don't deserve that guy. Back when he was on his mission I knew that I would one day be married to him. This man sacrifices like no other. Even at work he always goes

Just yesterday he worked a 12 hour day on a T.V show and although he was tired he insisted in watching the boys while I went to Zumba for some ME time. He does that kind of stuff all the time. He is hard working, dedicated to his family and willing to serve others.
I am grateful I married my best friend.

Halloween 2012

October has been my favorite month this year. Kent and I share equal amount of excitement for Halloween but not quite like Phil and Claire ( Modern Family). If you watch the show you know what I mean.
I challenged myself to do something Halloween/fall related for 31 days for Will. Whether it was painting rocks, making pumpkin bread, or making ghosts with his footprints, we did it all. It was exciting to see Will excited for Halloween.

Kent came home from work, we had dinner and off we went to our Wards Trunk or Treat.  After making the rounds we took will down the street to knock on some doors. We wanted him to get the same experience of trick or treating like we did when we were kids. The weather was beautiful last night. It has not been like that for years. Thankful we didn't have to wear coats or deal with the snow.
This year we kept it simple. I was a witch, Will was Captain America. Sam was bedtime Care bear ( super easy costume) and Kent was a scarecrow from Will's favorite Halloween book "The lady who wasn't afraid of anything". His preschool has been reading this all month. He loves it. too bad its on back order at Barnes.

We finished our night watching Ghostbuster at our friends the Guzman big screen. Great Halloween. Sad and glad that it is over. now its time to take down the decor and clean my house!

Halloween night and October FUN!
